Adult Bible Studies

Adult Choir
Our Adult Choir is active from September through May. They practice in the Choir Room on Monday evenings at 6:00 p.m. If you are interested in singing with us, let us know.
Adult Sunday School
We offer several classes ... just click on the red unlined words and find a place where you fit in!
Children's Sunday School
They meet in room #5, in the Education Hallway. A Nursey is available as needed during this hour.
Greeters
People volunteer to welcome those who enter our facility on Sunday mornings before Worship.
Missions Ministry
A group of people who have a passion for Missions Outreach meet on the 3rd Sunday of the month. They plan local and regional Mission Events as well as support World-wide Missions throughout the year.
Morning Prayer
Interested attendees meet on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. in the Parlor, the room across from the Sanctuary, to pray for the days services.
Praise Team Ministry
Praise Team members practice in the Sanctuary, on Mondays at 5:30 p.m. The Praise Team is always looking for additions to their group: musicians and vocalists. If you are gifted musically, we want you!
Sound & Power Point Ministry
Volunteers prepare and run the Media Shout power point and sound system during the Sunday morning Worship Service.
Special Needs Sunday School
Class members meet in the Education Wing Library, on Sunday Mornings. This class is a mixture of ages from Jr. High - Young Adults. They enjoy a wide variety of activities from building Bible Stories out of Legos, to enjoying movie time and devotions together. They spend lots of time laughing, talking with each other and looking for where God is working in their everyday lives.
Stephen Ministries
Stephen Ministers meet the 4th Thursdays of each month at Carpenter's Cup, 124 W. Main Street, Smithville. Stephen Ministers are Christian men or women - trained to provide one-to-one care to people experiencing a difficult time in life, such as grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, relocation, or separation due to military deployment.
Young at Heart
This is our Senior Adult Ministry (S.A.M.) They meet weekly on Thursdays at noon, in the Church Narthex. They each bring a sack lunch then after lunch enjoy an afternoon of fun, fellowship and games! On the 3rd Thursdays of each month, they meet at a local restaurant at 11:30 a.m. to enjoy lunch together then return to the Church Narthex for games! Youth Ministry
All 6-12 grades meet on Wednesdays from 2:30 - 5:00 p.m., in our Fellowship Hall.
Youth Sunday School
Youth meet in the upstairs Youth Room. This Sunday School class is for all youth, 6-12 grades.
